The intent of the Historic Preservation division is to promote the educational, cultural, and economic welfare of the public by preserving and protecting historic structures or sites, portions of structures, groups of structures, manmade or natural landscape elements, works of art, or integrated combinations thereof, which serve as visible reminders of the history and cultural heritage of the city.
If you need to meet with Historic Preservation staff for plan reviews for the Board of Architects, Certificate of Appropriateness, Historic Determination Letters or other board reviews please note our hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You may also email hist@coralgables.com to schedule an appointment.
