The attached procedure shall be used for the resolution of protested solicitations by any actual bidder or offeror seeking resolution of their complaints. The initial compliant must be issued and addressed with the Chief Procurement Officer. Should resolution of the complaint be unsuccessful a Written Protest may be filed by any actual bidder or offeror who perceives itself aggrieved in connection with the formal solicitation of a contract or who intends to contest bid specifications or a bid solicitation; or any actual responsive and responsible bidder whose bid is lower than that of the recommended bidder or an offeror who perceives itself aggrieved in connection with the recommended award of contract may file a notice of intent to file a protest.

If you and/or your corporation, association, firm or partnership is registered to do business with the City of Coral Gables this notice applies to you. As a vendor, with the City of Coral Gables, it is your obligation to report any contributions made to the campaign of a candidate or the campaign committee of a candidate for the office of Mayor or City Commissioner for the City of Coral Gables.
Per City Code Provision 2-303 Vendor Contributions, all contributions must be disclosed to the Office of the City Clerk within twenty (20) days of making said contributions. The reporting requirement applies to any contributions made by the vendor, its principle or “person” as defined in Florida Statute 106.011(14) for purposes of campaign finance law as an individual or a corporation, association, firm, partnership, joint venture, joint stock company, club, organization, estate, trust, business trust, syndicate or other combination of individuals having collective capacity. The term includes a political party, affiliated party committee, or political committee.
