The City of Coral Gables Fire Department recently hosted eight firefighters from Cartagena, Colombia for a one-week immersive training that shared best practices in fire prevention and training methodology and featured hands-on exercises. At the conclusion of the week, the participants were presented with a certificate to recognize the training experience, the first of its kind for the city.
As a sister city, it is a privilege to have our city’s first responders share and teach valuable fire safety skills that will directly impact the residents of Cartagena.
