On Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, the Coral Gables Police Department welcomed three new police officers.  The University of Miami Police Department also welcomed a new officer.  All four officers were sworn in by Police Chief Edward J. Hudak, Jr. during a ceremony held at the Coral Gables Police and Fire Headquarters building.  

Officers Juan Trujillo, Thiago Falcao, Briana Lorenzo, and Bianca Torres (from L-R) are recent graduates of the Miami Police College, Police Academy Class #140.  All four will soon begin their field training.

“I am proud to welcome these officers to our family,” said Hudak. “As you begin your careers as public servants, you are now sworn to protect the public, anytime and anywhere. Please stay safe.”
