Monitoring Hurricane Milton

As of Oct. 10, 2024, at 3 p.m.

Hurricane Milton made landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast late Wednesday night.

All city offices and facilities will reopen for regular business today at 5 p.m. Please note: emergency services will still be available.

Community Recreation will partially resume operations today at 5 p.m. All outdoor park spaces are currently open. The Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center will open from 5 to 10 p.m. The Biltmore Tennis Center will open today at 5 p.m. The Coral Gables Country Club Athletic Club gym will open at 5 p.m. The pool, kids club, and Le Parc Café will re-open tomorrow. The following facilities are closed and will re-open tomorrow:  The Adult Activity Center, The Venetian Pool, Granada Golf Course and Salvadore Tennis Center. 

Residents who parked in Garage 4 to avoid possible flooding are urged to remove their vehicles no later than 5 p.m. today, Oct. 10. Please note: charges will accrue after that time

Trash, garbage and recycling service scheduled for today, Oct. 10, will be postponed to tomorrow, Oct. 11. Service for tomorrow will be postponed to Monday, Oct. 14. Subsequent pickups will proceed as usual.
