Rotary Club of Coral Gables is excited to announce that its signature fundraising event, the Chillin' Chili Cook-off, will return on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1 - 5 p.m. at Ponce Circle Park, 2810 Ponce de Leon Blvd. for what promises to be a spooktacular and fun afternoon. There will be games and a bounce house for the kids and music for the grownups featuring Funk Pedal. There will also be a Halloween costume contest for everyone with prizes!
20 chili chefs from the Coral Gables Woman's Club, the Coral Gables Police Department, and more will be serving samples of their secret recipes to determine whose chili is better! Come taste and vote for yourself. Tasting tickets are only $10. Prizes are awarded to both the judges' and the people's favorites.
This year’s Chili Cookoff is made possible through the generous support of Bay 13 Brewery, Keyes Real Estate, MG Developers, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital to name just a few.
Over the last four cookoffs, the Rotarians have made grants totaling over $120,000 to local charities and college scholarships to deserving graduates of Coral Gables Senior High School.
