Navy Band Southeast’s Deckplate Brass Band

Kick off Taste the Gables – restaurant month with a summer concert series featuring the Navy Band Southeast’s Deckplate Brass Band. This 8-member group of active Navy Officers will perform traditional New Orleans-inspired music, jazz, funk, and unique versions of today’s popular music. Before or while enjoying the performance, explore the dozens of restaurants participating in Taste the Gables with special pre-fixed menus.

Since its establishment in 1995, Navy Band Southeast has been dedicated to providing top quality musical support throughout the Southeastern United States for Commander, Navy Region Southeast. Under the direction of Lieutenant Junior Grade Nicholas Nadal, the band is located onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville, and serves the military and civilian communities.
