The Coral Gables Music Club, celebrating its 85th year, presents the Annual Scholarship Recital on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The recital will take place at the Coral Gables Congregational Church, located at 3010 De Soto Boulevard, Coral Gables, FL, 33134. The scholarship recital is free of charge and open to the public.

Seventeen students from elementary through high school will perform. They have all competed for this prestigious award and will continue in the program until graduation from high school. The artistic director of this program, Angelica Sganga, was a scholarship recipient of this very program when she was in high school herself many years ago. She is currently a piano instructor at the University of Miami Frost Preparatory Program and is actively involved with different music organizations that help promote and organize music concerts. She serves as a judge in local concerto competitions and continues to perform as a concert pianist.
