To commemorate our 100 years of service, Coral Gables Garden Club is pleased to present “A Century in Bloom, A Centennial Celebration & Historical Exhibit” on Sunday, February 23, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the historic Merrick House Museum, 907 Coral Way, Coral Gables, Florida. Admission is free.
Kids’ activities include eco-art, hunts and nature tales. Adults will enjoy the Coral Gables Garden Club historic exhibition inside the Merrick House, live music and three informative presentations:
- “Planting Natives in Florida – Friendly Landscape” by Barbara McAdam
- “Protecting the Miami Blue Butterfly: A Race Against Extinction” by Dennis Olle, North American Butterfly Association
- “Couture Floral Designs for The Home” by Mario Fernandez of Belle Fleur
