Dance NOW! Miami returns to Sanctuary of the Arts with an encore performance of Blue Pencil, following the company’s overseas tour in Portugal. 

This politically charged ballet takes its title from the story of Portugal’s official “Blue Pencil” censorship under the Salazar dictatorship and tackles the issues of censorship, repression, and resistance head-on. 

The evening of dance will also feature audience favorites from the company’s 25-year history of captivating performances.
