The Coral Gables Merrick House Board of Governors brings you an enjoyable afternoon and presentation about our city's founder from a unique perspective.
Actor/Historian Robert Dawson will share tales of George Merrick as told by his maternal grandfather Henry George Greatrake Fink, a circuit-riding "saddlebag" Methodist preacher who conjured his Fink's Magic Oil into a fortune. Mr. Dawson, who has researched and created over 70 one-man presentations, brings historical figures to life--entertaining and educating along the way.
