Our Sister Cities — Sunday, Oct. 27, 4:30 p.m.

Following in Merrick's footsteps, Coral Gables leaders have envisioned our city as a hub of international commerce and culture. Don Slesnick (Mayor 2001-2011) will reflect on the Sister City program, which partners with municipalities that share our love of history, performance art and fine cuisine.

While serving as mayor, Don led and received delegations from La Antigua, Cartegena, Aix-en-Provence, Granada and Pisa. He will recount adventures in sharing best practices in artistic and culinary expression, business development and governance.
