Residents of the City of Coral Gables have access to some of Miami-Dade County’s most high-performing public schools. Miami Dade County Public School District is the nation’s third largest school district. It serves over 330 thousand students with representation from over 160 countries worldwide. In terms of performance, MDCPS has been ranked an A-rated school district for the last 4 years and boasts a 92% graduation rate. The list below highlights the public schools located within the city’s boundaries and also lists schools that while not geographically within the city, serve city residents as their assigned home schools. The city has a School and Community Relations Committee. It provides an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration between schools and their neighbors and looks for opportunities to improve schools in terms of physical appearance, community involvement, and quality of education.
