The City directly awards competitively solicited contracts and utilizes other competitively solicited and awarded contracts from other governmental agencies (“Piggyback”). Below your will find a list of both types of current and active contracts available.

Request to Qualify

The City’s Request to Qualify (RTQ) program was developed to allow for the pre-qualification of multiple vendors/contractors that perform services through various disciplines utilized by our City Departments. The pre-qualification process allows vendors/contractors to submit their qualifications, licenses, experience and other information for review and consideration into the pool of vendors/contractors. The pre-qualified list will later be utilized to solicit pricing on an “as needed basis” for specific scopes of work. Below you will find the RTQs that are open and available for entry into the pre-qualified pool.

Request to Qualify (RTQ) for a pool of contractors for future pricing competition for specific projects for general and specialty trade contractor services for the City of Coral Gables.

RTQ 2020-010-6 Professional Instructor Services for Tennis and Pickle Ball

This Request to Qualify will establish a pool of pre-qualified professionals to be used in the Tennis and Pickle Ball Professional pool to provide instructional services for the City of Coral Gables. Placement on this list is not a contract between the City and professionals, but an acknowledgment that the professionals meet the qualifications as outlined in this RTQ. Submittals will be accepted throughout the term of the RTQ for placement on the pre-qualified list.

The following list includes, but is not limited to, the types of work that is contemplated under contracts resulting from this RTQ: Maintaining a full schedule of tennis lessons for adults and juniors, Promoting tennis center programs and lessons to increase participation, Monitoring student’s progress, and Motivating students using first-class teaching techniques.
