The Mayor is elected to a two-year term and all Commissioners are elected to four-year terms on a non-partisan basis. The City of Coral Gables holds municipal elections every two years, in odd-numbered years in April. The City of Coral Gables City Clerk is the local Supervisor of Elections for all municipal elections.

For Early Voting, vote or drop off your mail-in-ballot early only at the Coral Gables Library, 3443 Segovia St. 

Run-Off Election on April 22, 2025 you must go to your designated Polling Station. See polling locations for Election Day.

    • As of January 16, 2025, there are 37,247 registered voters in Coral Gables, with 34,342 active voters**.
      • As of April 10, 2025, there are 7,500 Vote by Mail requests on file.
      • Deadline to Request a Vote by Mail Ballot has passed. 

**According to Miami-Dade, if you do not vote in two consecutive general elections, you are sent a letter by the Department of Elections checking on you. If after four letters you do not respond to any of them, you become inactive. You are still registered but considered an inactive voter.
