Coral Gables Farmers Market, Saturdays until March 29

The Coral Gables Farmers Market takes place in front of City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way, every Saturday, from January 18 through March 29, 2014.  From 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., enjoy live music, just-picked produce, baked goods and plants, and more.

At 8 a.m., a free Tai Chi class is offered in Merrick Park.

At 9 a.m., a free gardening workshop is conducted by local experts. In case of rain, the workshop is held inside City Hall.

At 10 a.m., a master chef creates a dish for shoppers to sample.

At 11 a.m., there are wonderful children activities for our younger Market shoppers.

11:00 a.m. Children’s Activity - Hosted by Jungle Island. Jungle Island will bring exotic animals from the rainforest for all to enjoy.

9:00 a.m. Gardening Workshop - “Conservation in a Botanic Garden: What we do at Montgomery Botanical Center.” Presented by Tracy Magellan of the Montgomery Botanical Center

10:00 a.m. Cooking Demonstration by Lori Hollander-Moldovan

11:00 a.m. Children’s Activity -- Hosted by the Parks & Recreation Division. Make your own Colorful Turtle with tissue paper to take home.
