The Docomomo-US 2024 National Symposium Miami
“Streams of Modernity: Postwar to Postmodern,”
The symposium will take place from May 29 to June 1, 2024 and will highlight Postwar-to-Postmodern architecture in South Florida. The National Symposium is the primary event in the United States for professionals to discuss and share efforts to preserve Modern architecture and meet leading practitioners and industry professionals.
The City of Coral Gables and the Historic Preservation Association of Coral Gables are proud sponsors of this event, along with the University of Miami School of Architecture, among others.
The symposium will offer a unique tour: "From Coral to Concrete. The Moderns of Coral Gables: 1960-1980"
The tour is sold out but a waitlist is available.
